Eggless egg salad

Tonight, I am entrusted with a mission. That of Assya, not to change. His command was clear yesterday "Laura, if you do not post this recipe, I do not forgive you !!!!".
Myself I adore this "egg salad without eggs." At our friends omnivores, it is common to eat all kinds of salads with all kinds of dead flesh. I must admit that since I've been a vegetarian since a bunch of years, I've never had the sense to eat the egg salad spread, since I did not use the others either. By becoming vegan and having fun to divert conventional preparations I learned to love, nay, to adore this kind of salads and spreads.

This eggless egg salad (tofu, actually) is by unlimited. I love it with celery, pickles, shredded carrots, shallots, red onions, radishes, onions, etc., what matters is whether grated or chopped very fine. Similarly for spices, you can use absolutely anything that you fancy. It is made in a jiffy and keeps more than a week without problem. But believe me, she will never stay up there. It is also perfect for spreading on small toasts in appetizers, on slices of cucumber as Assya yesterday evening, radish, or as trampouille with celery sticks.

Cart

- 1 package of tofu
- 1 tbsp soyu
- 2 tbsp yeast malt
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp vegan mayonnaise
- 1 / 2 tsp turmeric
- 1 / 4 tsp curry
- 1 / 4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 / 2 tsp chilli powder
- 1 / 4 tsp salt
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
fine - 2 tbsp finely chopped dill pickle

Cauldron

1) First, you have to press the tofu for a good half-hour. For those unfamiliar with this technique, it is to extract as much liquid to make it more friable and less humid. Those who do not press tofu, do not panic, just put the block of tofu in a deep plate and put over a large jar or large bowl filled with water. Remember to empty the liquid every 10 minutes.
2) Mash the tofu with a fork, then mix with remaining ingredients. I told you it was super easy!

Haiti: Duvalier a lawsuit against "impossible," according to his lawyers

Source: google.com , February 22, 2011

PORT-AU-PRINCE (AFP) - A lawsuit against the former Haitian dictator Jean-Claude Duvalier, whether for crimes against humanity and corruption, does is "not possible", said on Tuesday the lawyers of former "president for life," returned home after 25 years of exile.

Jean-Claude Duvalier returned to Haiti on January 16, ruled the country between 1971 and 1986, when he went into exile in France. He is charged with bribery, embezzlement and conspiracy by the Haitian justice. Victims of his regime have filed a score complaints against him.

"For the same charges against Mr. Duvalier now, and despite the limitations, the court has already ruled Haiti in 2001 and has cleared the former president," noted Mr. Canton Frizto one of his lawyers Based on a ruling that he believed would have been rendered by the Court of Cassation in Haiti.

The organization of human rights Human Rights Watch recently called for holding in Haiti to a fair trial against Duvalier.

"I wish we could let Mr. Duvalier in peace and can live peacefully in his country," shouted the lawyer during a press briefing to present the legal case of "Baby Doc". He warned against any attempt to "judge a man instead of a regime."

Rejecting arguments by the prosecutor of Haiti to continue their client for crimes against humanity, Mr. Duvalier's lawyers have said that Haitian law does not recognize this concept and that international conventions on the subject does have not been ratified by Haiti.

"A trial against Duvalier for crimes against humanity is not possible in Haiti, given the fact that we have no laws" in the subject, hammered Me-Alix Aurélien Jeanty.

Reynold Georges, a third defender, denounced the "persecution" against Mr. Duvalier, referring to a call of victims of his regime who have asked President Rene Preval and the Minister of Justice to bring the former dictator in prison.

"The government can not order the Justice incarcerating President Duvalier. The judiciary is independent of the executive," he argued.

Microwave Recipe By Ge

oppressed of all countries follow the example of the Egyptians.

Source: yahoo.com / Normand Lester's column , Monday, February 14, 2011 by Normand Lester

What happened in Egypt is disappointing the Black Bloc and all other organizations, anarchist or not, usually dominated by young men who dream of overthrowing the government by mob violence. Violence, "said Marx, is the midwife of history. This is not necessarily true.

The magnificent Egyptian people managed to get rid of Mubarak in demonstrating peacefully for 18 days and refusing to respond to attacks by agents provocateurs who wanted the plan to push into the spiral of violence and retaliation. The extraordinary discipline of the Egyptians has something to drool all the rage thugs on the planet. It even has admirable people had a sense of civic clean Tahrir Square after triumphing regime. Imagine similar events in Canada, the United States or Europe. The cloud of political psychopaths who would hit the peaceful crowd, which would have immediately put to any break, smash and burn.

We talked about Facebook and Twitter revolution, but we should attribute her victory to the Internet and global television coverage live. Difficult to massacre thousands of demonstrators in front of cameras all over the world that broadcast events in real time 24 / 7. Chinese authorities still bear the indignity repression of Tiananmen Square in 1989. And that was just the beginning of the digital age and the virtual global village. The Russian revolution of 1991 that ousted the Communist Party from power in Russia and reported the collapse of the Soviet empire was also held without much bloodshed. Again, the worldwide media coverage has been for nothing. Russian generals have refused to pull their people live on television.

And since these events, internet, cell phones, video and network television news continues to be added to the variety of ways to fight against repression.

Revolution of January 25 will likely be emulated. Virtually all the leaders of Arab League countries deserve the fate of Mubarak. Israel is also directly threatened. The Palestinian people seems destined to follow the example of his Egyptian brothers to hunt the West Bank the despotic regime of Mahmoud Abbas sold to Israelis and Americans and to put the bearded Hamas idiots, head first, into the dustbin of Gaza.

It is difficult to see how the forces of repression could crush Israel in the blood, intifada "peaceful "Which would include both Israeli Arabs and Palestinians in the occupied territories. In fact, non-violent intifada is perhaps the only recourse for Palestinians. Automatic weapons massacred thousands of unarmed demonstrators live with the world watching, it's messy. Firing rockets from helicopters on defenseless young men sitting in the street is rather inelegant and unpleasant pictures it looks on television at dinner time.

yet 15 years ago this would have been possible while the big U.S. media in the pocket of the Israel Lobby dominated the global TV offering. It is no longer the case. Now the Internet is universal eye plus hundreds of millions of video cell phones. CNN, the spokesman of U.S. State Department and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is decommissioned. The world prefers the BBC and particularly for information on the Middle East, the Qatari Al-Jazerra. His brave journalists risked their lives to bear witness to war crimes and crimes against humanity, whether committed by tyrants Muslims, Americans or Israelis. But testimony by the image of crime does the trick for everyone. Up recently the Israeli lobby had succeeded in banning the chain in Canada.

Oppressed by all countries, assemble peacefully and do all together, millions of television arm of honor to those who oppress you. You have a good chance of having to wear.

having neither the courage nor the intellectual genius, Military and Strategic his adoptive father Julius Caesar, Gaius Octavianus, thirsty power would crush his political opponents, his enemies, his friends and some family members to achieve their purposes. He performs with Marcus Antonius the Roman proscriptions aimed at dispossessing some Roman patricians targeted, among them "césaricides" unrepentant supporters of the Roman republic and eliminate them physically. If he is not bravery, it will inculcate. If no military experience to manage bellum (war driving), he will teach and surround himself with loyal friends such as the indispensable Agrippa, with whom he later defeated Marcus Antonius Cleopatra at the Battle of Actium. After it becomes Originator or first citizen of the Roman Empire Imperator Caesar Augustus Pontifex Maximus. However, we must give to Caesar what is Caesar's. It indeed has the patience and the organizational genius of the Empire who lacked his father Julius Caesar. In addition, he fought corruption systematically in Rome and the Roman provinces and leads a humble life and sober. He died Imperator Caesar Divi Filius Augustus, 19 August 14 AD. JC. His regime lasted for about 15 centuries, and Caesar Augustus after he became an alcoholic; Kaiser in Germany, the Czar in Russia, etc.. The story holds that the father of Western civilization is one of the few leaders taught humanity to greatness, integrity, universal values and use the power wisely and prudently and sparingly over time. It has grown in power or in spite of power. This means that it has proved the exception that the power need not corrupt the long term.

He will say before he died: "I found Rome brick, I left you in marble." However, his best epitaph and monument remain the organization of the empire (for us the state) that will refine later Western civilization which has built the foundations. And his last words were reportedly: "If I played well my role, applaud me now before I left the scene. "For Imperator, life is staged. We fight for the role we want to play. If we manage to get it must play to give full meaning to existence. It is difficult, if one wants to be reasonable, to find her equals as its impact on civilization, for better or for worse, was decisive.
A LESSON
AUGUSTE

is not here to glorify anyone, but rather to draw the lesson that the exercise of power that has produced many aberrations throughout the ages must be reconsidered by the leaders present and future in the light of an exceptional score played there 2000 years ago in Rome. It was then built an empire on rock, but in most of our countries today the task is rather to re-direct the state and the nation-state safely. How is it that the heads of State and Government of the Third World countries use the same leadership models that have consistently failed to be chosen to grow in power, to become better as Caesar Augustus, to pose as him posterity? How is it that our Heads of State to adopt models of rats, grasshoppers, guinea hens, roosters, vultures and tigers instead of the eagle of the legions whose strategic vision and power can accomplish great things with people?

Life of Imperator is a lesson in leadership and mission for political leaders who want to learn and teach greatness. The American historian Joseph J. Ellis refers to the conduct of Augustus to power in Founding Fathers: "... There are only two examples in the history of Western civilization where the political elite of an empire emerging behaved as well as the one could reasonably expect: the first was Rome under Caesar Augustus, and the second, the United States under the auspices of founding fathers. "They have deliberately asked for posterity despite being aware of the impact of their greatest failures in its decision (slavery, the Indian question and the rights of women). They even attempted to perfect the act, and in some cases have tried to delete the mistakes of the past. Posterity was their passion, obsession. And if Thomas Jefferson Tacitus crown "the greatest writer in the world without exception. His work, a bunch of history and unique character ...", is this not an indication that the founding fathers were also watered the antiquity of the great masters of Tacitus, Cicero, Plato, Augustus, etc.. ?

CONFESSION Sine Qua Non

The largest denomination of a leader is first intimate. It is to identify and accept its limitations in order to compensate. It is precisely this humbling most important leaders like Jean-Bertrand Aristide have avoided win from the start that they have made enormous political capital wasted. If-born leaders, they are not numerous. Everyone has the ability to develop leadership qualities. That is why it is imperative to take stock of its strengths and its limitations in arriving the helm of affairs. Inventory otherwise you can not actually direct, because lead is precisely to know to bring sophisticated navigation instruments to conduct the nation-state safely.

Today, Ms. Hyppolite Mirlande Manigat and Michel Martelly, candidates in the second round of presidential elections next March, should begin this exercise, because nothing in their past evidence that they possess all the qualities required this moment of national history for the positive shift exceptional as desired by true patriots. It takes more than talent as a musician and teacher to guide the nation, rebuild the state, changing the behavior the nation state and start the development of Haiti to finally contemplate the "tomorrows". Each candidate has

severe impairments because they are never gone into the mold that shapes modern leaders. Given the exceptional circumstances of national degradation, Haiti also requires exceptional leadership and much more insightful and strategic person who leads the first countries in the world.

IMPAIRMENTS BILATERAL

Manigat has the advantage of a great culture, a relative maturity to discuss major issues so vital to national life, for leading what may consider, in a spirit of justice, as the best political party in Haiti. In addition, age of youth is not too ripe age of lawsuits and political practices shameless and destructive. This is the age where you can pose for posterity. This is the age where we can enforce in the conduct of affairs. However, she never held a post in the public or private sector that would allow it to exercise leadership responsibilities increasingly complex and require are also test the skill and political will. Here it must consider the aspect to improve its leadership. To do this, you must surround himself with a Maecenas and a touch and close fastening, that is to say consulting a rare strategic intelligence and emotional, and at the same time, ie away from his entourage grasshoppers that are only for their personal interests and know how to mask their true intentions with resumes snoring. When

to Martelly, it has the advantage of being aware of his ignorance in politics and is apparently direct.

- "Gentlemen, m'bouké." he says during a presidential debate
- "Or Bouké alos ke poco or komanse mim ..." responds quickly
opponent - "No Monch, is avek new mim, mim ke m'bouké year wi ... "

Martelly no training that will enable it to address key issues with relative independence of mind which feeds the big decisions of great leadership. Leadership that listens to opposing viewpoints to finally decide the strategic set. Far from considering a weakness, Martelly should work to get to work to compensate. If he knows how to make his confession intimate, this is the first step towards a "noble" personal transition. And if he really wants to pose for posterity as the first president of the new Haiti and do not contemplate exile at the end of his term, he should arm himself with a political will to clean up its environment, rebuild the state and learn to practice the discipline of execution. His personal training exercise will be much more grueling than Manigat, but he néamoins the advantage of being much younger than her rival.

posing for posterity

The lesson of life exceptional antiquity is still valid. Caesar Augustus was the most spectacular example of evolution but still dramatic and positive leadership to power. The greatest quality of the Imperator was perhaps his ability to change for the better. That's what which enabled him to evolve from an obscure figure and criminal figure "August" in his time and since, in the memory of mankind. Do not knock on the door of Francois Duvalier, or Rene Preval and Jean-Bertarnd Aristide, as they are now in the museum of history of reptiles which combines Stalin, Hitler, Hosni Mubarak, etc..

However, it is important to remember that the Imperator Caesar Augustus had 44 years to perfect his act in power and lay the foundations of Western civilization. The next president of Haiti will have only 5 years to begin to rebuild the state and instill new values, beliefs and behavior public administration and the nation-state. His task is Herculean. The only reward is the verdict of history for a place in posterity. And consolation at the end of his mandate: "If I played my part, applaud me now before I left the scene."

CAIRO, Egypt - Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak announced on Thursday its decision to transfer his powers to Vice President Omar Suleiman, without resign.

"I decided to entrust the vice president the powers of the president constitutionally," said Hosni Mubarak during a televised speech eagerly awaited.

Egyptian President has not announced his resignation. "I will not leave Egypt until the day I die," he said.

His announcement was greeted with angry shouts and boos on Tahrir Square, where tens of thousands of people gathered to hear him.

"The transition of power is today in September," date of the next presidential election in Egypt, the president said. The transformation started

can be reversed and the dialogue must continue, "said Mubarak, before talking about the losses suffered by the Egyptian economy.

He felt that the demands of demonstrators calling for his immediate departure for more than two weeks were just and legitimate, but warned he would never leave Egypt.

Mubarak also announced that it had requested six constitutional amendments that were part of the demands of protesters.

The president added that he refused allow foreign powers to dictate its policy. He said the emergency would be lifted once the dust settles and appealed for unity among Egyptians.

The Vice-President Omar Suleiman, the new strongman of the regime, spoke on television shortly after. "I pledge to do whatever it takes to achieve a peaceful transition of power in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution," he said.

"I will meet the demands of the people and through this dialogue," he added, while calling on protesters to stop their movement.

"I appeal to young people of Egypt and I tell you:" Go home, take your job, '"he said.

Rumours of an imminent resignation of President Hosni Mubarak had circulated all day Thursday in Egypt.

The "rais" met in the late afternoon with the newly appointed vice president to manage the crisis, while thousands of Egyptians continued to arrive on Tahrir Square in the hope that the president power for nearly 30 years announced his resignation.

"Almost there, almost there" could be heard in the crowd of tens of Thousands of people, where some feared, however, a military coup.

Shortly before the intervention of Hosni Mubarak, President Barack Obama had said the U.S. supported "an orderly transition to genuine democracy" in Egypt.

"What is absolutely clear is that we're seeing history written," Obama said in a speech to students at the University of Michigan. "This is a transformative moment."

The challenge initiated by young people on the Internet January 25, following the overthrow of President Tunisia Zine El Abidine Ben Ali in mid-January, has accelerated with a huge demonstration of at least 250,000 people in Tahrir Square on Tuesday and triggering numerous strikes across the country Wednesday.

Thursday after 17 days of unrest, the army has apparently taken control of the situation. The Supreme Council of the armed forces said he supported "the legitimate demands of the people." A spokesman read a statement on national television stating that the Council was meeting in continuous session to consider "measures to be taken (...) to protect the country, its achievements and ambitions its great people. "

"All your requirements will be met today, has also launched the General Hassan al-Roueini, military commander of the Cairo area, thousands of demonstrators in Tahrir Square.

The enthusiastic crowd carried him on his shoulders with cries of "the army and the people, with one hand." Some made the V for victory sign and chanting "the people want the end of the regime" and "Allah is great". But protesters also chanted that they wanted more of a military regime.

Protesters surround Parliament since Wednesday. Thursday for the first time, hundreds of lawyers dress crossed the police line to walk to one of the presidential palace - which was not the head of state.

Haiti: U.S. concerned about a return of Aristide before the election

Sources: AFP and google.com, February 9, 2011

WASHINGTON - The United States warned Wednesday against a return to Haiti of former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide before the second round of presidential elections to be held March 20.

If Mr. Aristide returned to Haiti before the second round of presidential elections, this will be "unfortunate diversion," said the spokesman for the State Department Philip Crowley.

Jean-Bertrand Aristide in exile in South Africa since 2004, expects to return to Haiti "very soon" in the coming days, once it received the passport authorities issued him, told AFP Wednesday his lawyer Ira Kurzban .

Discretion

The option requires a huge part of audacity. At least we write letters discreetly violent in silence. The audacity of patience, among other discretions in the future.

What fascinates in Japanese, is their discreet attention to detail, which ultimately seems to reveal all about harmony and perfection, minimal, but great. For some scissors in the garden of a Buddhist temple here that the kind of quiet landscape finds its means.

Perspective on Joint Honours Aki Shimazaki

have in common Aki Shimazaki and filmmaker Nobuhiro Suwa?

H. Looking back at film Story by Nobuhiro Suwa, I saw the year Last, I told myself that Aker Shimazaki addressed in its own way, the question of the unrepresentable. Let me explain: since the Second World War and since September 11, 2001, artists from all walks wonder how do we represent or describe events of extreme violence such as bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Holocaust or the fall of the twin towers. Through its

pentalogy The weight of the secrets , Aki Shimazaki takes his reader on a journey through time with a story that unfolds around the Nagasaki bomb. This event is unrepresentable in addition to being a taboo for Japanese to same way as the Hiroshima bomb. Aki Shimazaki is a tour de force: she talks briefly about the event without displaying it as the main element of his work. The story creates a bombshell about the history of Yukiko Yukio and, more secrets come to light, a little history dramatized by the fact that dishonor hanging over the Horibe and Takahashi have on the air more horrible.

Meanwhile, Nobuhiro Suwa, a filmmaker born in Hiroshima, the question of the unrepresentable by the image. Indeed, H. Story (2001) tells the story of a filmmaker who tries to make the remake of Hiroshima my love. Here the question is more "how to represent the unrepresentable," but rather "Is it possible, in the early 2000s, point by point to resume the original screenplay Hiroshima mon amour?". Suwa gives the answer is no. When the viewer watches the film, he witnessed a shooting missed. Actors expected to interpret Nevers (Beatrice Dalle) and Hiroshima (Hiroaki Umano) feel uncomfortable to recite the text of Marguerite Duras. Through their discomfort and failure of filming, these two characters wander in Hiroshima, predicting that the remake will not happen. In addition, the director express filming leaving burrs in images such as flash roll end. The only thing it did exactly as Resnais is in its way to film the Bomb Dome A. To summarize the work of Suwa, there is a distancing from history, but also over its predecessors. For him, it's much too difficult to do the remake of a film about an event he has not lived. As for books Aki Shimazaki, Nobuhiro Suwa wants his work simple and unobtrusive.
To all those who have not seen the movie and would like to see, I highly recommend it.

Interview with President Jean

Source: Signal FM February 7, 2011

Q. - What are the circumstances surrounding your departure from power February 7, 1986?

A. - If you had the chance to read or listen to my last message of February 7, 1986, you have a very clear idea of those circumstances.

In politics, one must know how to retire on time and I who spent fifteen years without any uproar with the Haitian people, the act of a popular uprising in two or three provincial cities, directed against my government, seemed enough to go and, after much reflection, I decided to leave, to the amazement of my staff, my supporters, members of my family and even the opposition, not to slow development efforts that were underway. Believe me, my mother found out that on the evening of 6 February.
Menm Manmanm this nan Nwite 6 Févry li pral konnen new!

Q. - Have you been forced to leave the country?

A. - I think I already answered this question. It not. Now, if you ask me if I could afford to retain power in 1986, of course yes. Remember that I was Supreme Commander and Staff of the Armed Forces and National Security Volunteers. If I were the dictator you claim, I would have had only one word to say to restore order. I did nothing of the sort. Remember that two kids fell in Gonaives and another youth in Cape Haitien. For me it was already too much. I respectfully salute the memory of these young men fell too soon. One of them, Gonaives, was the son of a VSN brave and that of Cap-Haitien, was a close relative of an officer of the Presidential Guard attached to my personal safety. Conspiracy or not, I leave you to judge. Anyway, among the many options open to me, I preferred to leave power to a civilian-military council that I made to hasten a peaceful solution to the crisis.

Q-What role does international played in your leave?

A. - None. Probably you ask this question in a post-Duvalier. We dealt differently with the world. Epok

When I decided to really go, I invited Thursday, February 6, about seven o'clock, respectively Ambassador of France and the United States, to join me at the National Palace and there I told them made my decision to resign. I asked the American Ambassador, let me find, if possible, a means of transportation. A military plane was kindly sent me.

Q. - Some criticisms are addressed to the Duvalier regime, including the muzzling of the press, the restriction individual freedoms and associations, corruption, torture and political killings. Take one to one of these reproaches.

A. - I prefer to answer that question generally.

retrospect, the greatest criticism that could be addressed to my government is not having held mock presidential elections every four years, five years or six years. I had a serious vision of democracy. And I wanted to bring everyone around me in this vision seriously, in a spirit of consensus. Unfortunately, things take time policies in Haiti ...

In on democracy, if your model is France or the United States for example, all the accusations you are allowed. If instead, you take other examples like the Cuban model is very popular in Haiti, I would hope that we earnestly explain how this friendly country is it a democracy compared to my government, which progressively s opened it to the opposition to the point that many of my opponents have become ministers, ambassadors have been recruited as technicians in my government ...

To hear the lamentations of my enemies, I wondered if the only way move their eyes to was not a true democrat, ultimately, to let me down or let them power ... And until then, they made what?

Ki fè with his yo-a pouvwa its

It seems to my government even denied the right to have kept the peace of the streets and having chased the bombers or drug dealers!

I know there have been excesses, and again I regret bitterly! I recall that whenever documented cases of abuse reported me, I ordered sanctions without fanfare. I hope that the archives of the military and Police will testify.

Did you know that under my government, the Reverend Sylvio Claude was arrested and later tried and sentenced by a criminal court to nine years in prison? But you also know that he won before the Court of Cassation, was exonerated and released? Those judges who have acted independently have not been persecuted or revoked by my government. I salute the courage of the martyr of freedom! I can not tell you today how I was devastated at the sight of horrific images of his assassination in Four Paths, Les Cayes, in September 1991. Nobody talks of this heinous crime! Do you have a toll of journalists, political activists, trade unionists brutally executed in the reign of democratic regimes who have succeeded?

You see? It's quite a debate. Much the same thing when you talk about corruption. History will eventually establish the truth and will take true stock-especially social and economic-that we could achieve from the meager resources we have available. We had not had a chance to these generous billion unfortunately ...

Q. - How did you live in exile?

the rhythm of my country! I was placed in an observation center to see the progress made in some countries in Africa, Asia and South America over the last twenty five years and live together and painful disintegration of Haiti at all levels during this same period. Even hope has faded. Youth has no moral compass and is left alone without a compass.

Q. - What a feeling it feel to be back in Haiti?

A. - Nou te viv-a Momma's menm January AVEM any new e konstate akey chalereux ke te Jenes the Banma

You've lived with me for a trip that was neither scheduled or announced. You lived the enthusiasm of the youth at the International Airport. You've seen the enthusiasm of public employees, their home, their reception! But from the airport to my hotel, I was plunged into deep grief by what I saw. It is high time that everyone in a large konbit finally working on the rebirth of this country and the promotion of youth. I foresee this possibility when all the former heads of state could form a grand council in order to promote national reconciliation and rehabilitation in Haiti.

Q. - What is your reading of the socio-political situation?

A. - I observe. The worst that could happen to these people is that it would go on to live in such inhuman conditions, despite the billions of dollars in aid! Somebody somewhere should have a guilty conscience! We should have a guilty conscience as an elite ruling!

Is It Ok To Ejaculate Into A Pregnant Woman

-Claude Duvalier Haiti: a woman running for the presidency

*

NDCDP-Politics .- Mirlande Manigat nominee, NPDR, the likely future president of Haiti.
his party's motto is: "The cool head, warm heart, clean hands ."
Contrary to the opinion expressed in the article below, there no doubt in Haiti: Mirlande Manigat, going in the second round, with a large share ahead of his rival, Michel Martelly. Indeed, it has always been first in the polls. Moreover it has been ranked first in the first round of presidential elections (31%), followed by Michel Martelly (22%), despite the massive fraud and gross party activists INIT November 28, 2010 for the candidate Jude Celestin.

Haiti will t he soon headed by a woman? It is a scenario likely since Mirlande Manigat, 70, is among the two candidates will compete in the second round of presidential Haiti. On Thursday, the government candidate Jude Celestin was excluded from the second round ending two months of political crisis arose from the disputes over the results of the first round on 28 November.

Mirlande Manigat therefore face Michel Martelly March 20 next. The latter, Haitian music star, is the son of a part of the oil sector. Former student in the United States, it is known for its excesses on stage and his virulent invective policies. By contrast, with his glasses and his gentle voice, Mirlande Manigat, big-eating Agatha Christie novels, has lived 13 years in France and belongs to the Haitian elite.

Intellectual graduate of the Sorbonne and Sciences Po, Mirlande Manigat would be the first woman elected to lead the country. It promises to break with the corruption and reform the education system. Author of several books on constitutional law, she has little experience of political struggle. Until the campaign last month, she had always lived in the shadow of her husband, Leslie Manigat, to power a few months in 1988, dedicating himself to teaching to become vice-rector of a private university in Haiti.

Sweet Micky "wants to" change the face of Haiti "

The heavy task of rebuilding the poorest country in the Americas, after the devastating earthquake of January 12, 2010, however, could return to Michel Martelly, 49, aka" Sweet Micky. " Although criticized for links they have with Jean-Claude Duvalier (former Haitian dictator returned home last month), the singer with a shaved head represents change and can be considered the favorite.

"I think young people will vote for Martelly, especially those who are unemployed and live in urban areas," said Robert Fatton, a political scientist, Haitian professor at the University of Virginia (eastern USA). "It has the advantage of being able to mobilize this segment of the population better than any other candidate. Right now, it has the wind in their sails. "

"My goal is to have the opportunity to change the face of Haiti. People see me as the light at the end of the tunnel "had ensured" Sweet Micky "last month, but not specifically describe the changes he promises to bring.

Rubberband Used As A Reminder

Pastiche

In his message, Gabriel inspired me to publish a well. For a more mature vision of my writing inspiration from Japan, here is a pastiche of the playwright Bernard-Marie Koltes, from drafts of a play called War Negroes and dogs. The purpose of the exercise was to describe the characters very least physically and in their hearts. Then they had to be in an environment and make them speak to see what vocabulary they would finish. I wrote this text in a writing workshop given by the writer François Bon in March 2009.

Yukiko: Two perfect almonds in the middle of the face, dimpled cheeks, small creases on the forehead.

In his heart of hearts: A bud of camellia that blooms slowly on a spring morning and finds the soft sunlight.

Kenji: Small wrinkles around the eyes, slight wrinkle below the mouth, eyebrows very equal.

In his heart: In the time it enters the winter looking at nature to sleep with the hope of seeing it reborn.

For an afternoon in Uji

The sun shines over the Uji River Bridge: it slowly warms the surface of clear water rippling movement of the buckets that it starts to draw the wind brings the scent of freshly brewed green tea gives a deep energy and a sense of tranquility to those and to those who cross the bridge to go to market or to pray at Biyodoin whose golden phoenix twinkle off in the sunlight. The characters are leaning on the bridge, each in his thoughts.

Yukiko: If I could, I will become a white crane, I would travel very far, I would make some interesting discoveries along the river until "the sea, I would contemplate the city from the Biyodoin as often and as long as I desires; night, I could taste the calm and silence me cool in the river while watching the moon light to be reflected in this mirror and I dive for fish and I Yummy, the most wonderful is that the morning, I let myself be lulled by the gentle wind, light as a feather.

Kenji: Who am I, where am I, where am I? That is the question whether this city is that I see today that she will become a thousand years? I would be there to see how Uji has evolved both remained the same, I would feel again the fragrance of tea, which I love, eternity is like a tea ceremony: it seems long, but see it go in a flash, it's much better when you take a moment and fix it in eternity, like writing haiku or the most beautiful as the fall delicate camellia blossoms in autumn .

Haiti: the candidate of power away from the second round of presidential

Source: lemonde.fr , Thursday, February 3, 2011 By Jean-Michel
Caroit

Port-au-Prince, Special Envoy - The second round of presidential elections in Haiti will oppose Mirlande Manigat Michel Martelly March 20, announced Thursday, Feb. 3 members of the Provisional Council election which has partially reversed the provisional results of the first round.

Announced in early December 2010, provisional results placed Jude Celestin, the dauphin of President René Préval, in second place behind Mirlande Manigat. They were angered supporters of the singer Michel Martelly and three days of rioting. On the basis of a report by experts of the Organization of American States (OAS), the main funders, USA in mind, have lobbied hard to exclude Mr. Celestin's second round in favor of the singer nicknamed "Sweet Micky".

Wednesday, February 2, the date announced for the final results, rumors have continued to circulate. In the morning we announced the arrival in Washington of the President of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), Gaillot Dorsinvil. "I'm here, do not worry, you'll have the results before eleven fifty-five p.m.," slid he, sneering at mid-day in its offices in a former gymnasium.

FEAR OF AN OUTBREAK OF VIOLENCE

Light Armor the UN Mission for Stabilization in Haiti (MINUSTAH), Haitian police, a heavy security protecting the seat of the PRC. UN peacekeepers and police units were on high alert in several parts of the capital where schools and businesses closed their doors earlier than usual. There was a crowd in some supermarkets and grocery stores remained open. Fears of another outbreak of violence, customers stockpiling food and drinking water.

"This is a cabal of the club of ambassadors who have decided that the candidate of President should be dismissed," inveighed a minister, who preferred to remain anonymous. "We can not continue to accept the pressure of the street decides the electoral process," he added.

Executive of the Init (Unit in Creole), the ruling party, the Justice Minister, Paul Denis, openly denounced the international community. "They shot the results of their pockets, they act as settlers, but there are men and women in this country who demand to be treated with dignity," he exclaimed.

A statement from the Black Caucus, the black elected to Congress, calling for new elections, restored the heart glad to government supporters. "The will of the people of Haiti has not been represented," noted the statement, recalling the many irregularities that marred the election on November 28.

The cancellation of elections was also requested by a rally of opposition parties. They demanded the resignation of President Rene Preval on Feb. 7, substituting a judge of the Court of Cassation and the formation of a provisional government. But a demonstration in support of this "proposal to end the crisis" has gathered a few hundred people.

AVOID A power vacuum

Fearing a power vacuum, the international community has asked Mr. Preval to stay in office beyond the constitutional deadline of its mandate, on February 7. Provided that the PRC accepts the recommendation of the OAS Jude Celestin excluding the second round, insisted Hillary Clinton, during his visit to Port-au-Prince Sunday, January 30.

presence in Haiti of former dictator Jean-Claude Duvalier and the possible return of former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide were added to the confusion. "It was I who initiated the democratic process in Haiti, when you call me a tyrant, it makes me laugh because people are suffering amnesia, "said Baby Doc to Univision, a Hispanic channel broadcast in the United States and Latin America.

Complaints for crimes against humanity have been filed against Mr. Duvalier, who was indicted for embezzling public funds and criminal conspiracy shortly after his return in mid-January. He said he had no accounts frozen in Switzerland, arguing that the 4.6 million stranded belonged to a foundation created by her mother. The authorities Swiss announced the opening of proceedings for forfeiture of these assets "to restore to the Haitian people."

The Haitian government has confirmed that a diplomatic passport would be issued to former President Aristide, in exile in South Africa since 2004, when asking for it. He said he wanted to return to Haiti to pursue education. Jean-Michel

Lime Sulphur Must Dry

Against the Grain

Fortunately, I landed on this blog is by soliciting another blog, where my friends wanted me to participate. However, this is to ask if there are still people who read this blog it - CEGEP Marie-Victorin and elsewhere. My goodness, the experience was not common and it will not hurt. Of course, we were apprentices - which does not always make the texts fabulously enjoyable to read - and, for my part, I intend to review the entire writing process undertaken in Japan, because the value of this Travel is undeniable, despite some solitude weighed heavy on my shoulders sad, like Kyoto to Tokyo. Saving you any yet this romance heart, I look rather unfinished, somehow, by a feather slightly more mature, the Japanese adventure with memories that come to mind.

It must be said: the strangeness of the thing is not to continue our writing of Japan outside Japan and the Institution. I humbly wish to give some contributions of memories in that direction.
Hail, Christian, Francis, etc..
